Delivering a simple application in IoT can be quite straightforward, but with closed systems and proprietary implementations it can be quite difficult to expand use cases or add new capabilities.
It can often mean that you have to start from scratch or deploy another IoT overlay network, scalability can become an issue when deploying solutions in buildings or on campus, how do you navigate this minefield and make informed decisions for scalable IoT deployment.
In this session, we will be covering the different types of communication technology that IoT uses for devices and networking infrastructure when to use them, how they differ in the real world and how best to integrate them into a live deployment.
We will then set up an environment with an IoT-enabled Access Point and IoT devices and show how IoT can provide a real-world return on investment.
