Wireless LAN Professionals – Reviews Project

We would like to announce a new Review Project for those interested in trying and testing some new gear that might be of interest to the Wi-Fi community.

The idea of this project is to share a box of gear – sometimes software, sometimes hardware, or sometimes just a gadget. We will ship you the items, and then expect you to spend a couple of hours testing, playing with, and using the enclosed items.

Then, we’d ask for participants to do a couple of things:

  • Write up a 500 to 1000-word review of your experience that will be posted on the WLANPros blog site.
  • Be willing to do a 5 to 10-minute interview for the Wireless LAN Weekly Podcast on your experience.
  • If you could develop a list of instructions or steps you took as a ‘how to’ – all the better.

The reason for this program – we have lots of items to review, and not enough time in the day to do it. Yet the information about these devices, software, hardware would be valuable to the rest of the community. And finally some folks don’t have their own blog and yet might have information that would be good to share.

If you are interested, please send an email with your shipping address to [email protected]
